Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination is cancer prevention.
The HPV Roundtable is dedicated to increasing HPV vaccination rates and improving education about the virus’s link to multiple cancers, including cervical, oropharyngeal, and other HPV-related cancers. We bring together healthcare providers, educators, community leaders, and public health experts to expand awareness, reduce misinformation, and promote evidence-based vaccination practices. By addressing barriers to access, strengthening provider recommendations, and fostering community partnerships, the workgroup works to ensure that every eligible Georgian has the opportunity to be protected against HPV-related cancers.

Allison Agnew
Breast & Cervical Program Coordinator, Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition
Allison leads regional education on breast and cervical cancer screening and HPV prevention. Since joining NWGACC in 2014, she’s developed signature outreach programs like the “Let’s Talk” dinner series and coordinated community health fairs. She holds degrees in Healthcare Technology and Healthcare Administration and continues to expand access to cancer awareness across Northwest Georgia.

Jana developed and leads Cancer Pathways’ “Cancer Happens®” teen education initiative, advancing cancer risk reduction and HPV prevention across the Southeast. She serves on the HPV Workgroup of the Georgia Cancer Control Consortium and was honored as an HPV Champion in Georgia.
