Cancer survivorship is about more than life after treatment — it’s about living well
The Survivorship Workgroup focuses on improving the quality of life for people who have completed cancer treatment, those still in treatment, and long-term survivors. We work to identify and address the physical, emotional, social, and financial challenges that can arise after a cancer diagnosis, including late effects of treatment and ongoing health needs. Our members collaborate to promote survivorship care planning, expand access to supportive services, and raise awareness of resources that help survivors thrive. Together, we aim to ensure that every cancer survivor in Georgia has the tools, care, and community they need to live their healthiest, fullest life.

Katreena Davis, MPH
Senior Program Manager, Events & Programs, Georgia CORE
A key leader at Georgia CORE since 2019, Katreena champions colorectal and breast cancer initiatives, revitalized Georgia’s cancer navigation network, and co-chairs the GC³ Survivorship Work Group. She oversees major statewide events and brings rich operational expertise from her prior role at Emory Healthcare. Katreena holds an MPH from Georgia Southern University and a BA in Communication from the College of Charleston.
Pooja Mishra, MBA, MHA, FACHE
Vice President, Oncology & Sickle Cell Service Line, Grady Health System
As a seasoned healthcare executive, Pooja leads Grady’s oncology and sickle cell service areas, building on her prior leadership of the Georgia Cancer Center of Excellence. With an MBA and MHA from Georgia State and FACHE accreditation, she has driven accreditation successes and advanced comprehensive, multidisciplinary cancer care. She also represents Grady on the American Lung Association’s Georgia board, championing lung health and equity initiatives.
